From today's Bull Market Report:

CMGI (CMGI, $138, down 6) said it would create a separate fund, which
could reach $1 billion, focused on Web firms that help businesses do
business with one another. CMGI said it would be the sole limited
investor in the new business-to-business fund, CMGI Ventures B2B Fund.
Nearly two-thirds of the companies in CMGI's current Ventures portfolio
operate in the business-to-business arena.

COMMENT: Talk about riding a wave! You have to love a company that finds
a sector that is hot, and then dedicates a fund to it. This is a big
fund, and yet fund after fund is being set up now to go after Internet
related companies. This is just the tip of the iceberg in the amount of
money being raised for venture capital deals in the Internet space and we
are pleased that one of our favorite executives will be spearheading this
venture. We can think of no better place to invest than in CMGI and David
Wetherell.

George, thanks for your comments. I too have found that long term is much more profitable (for me) than short-term trading. I can't pay attention to the market when at work and have no business trying to trade except on an occasional basis.

Have a very happy holiday.
