tk:

I love it:

CheckFree will provide the routing, tracking and payment engine to support Intuit's offering for CheckFree's billers.

Not Intuit's billers, mind you. No, these giant, blue-chip, cash-spewing mega-corporations belong to Checkfree, and don't you green-eye-shaded weaseling Quicken-mongers ever forget it!!!

Wow, Intuit's got some brass set of balls, IMHO. If that wasn't the most backhanded, dragged-through-the-mud "release," then I'm Rodney Dangerfield...Do you think they could have put it out any LATER after the newspaper cutoffs for tomorrow's business section?

Funny thing is that by not being forthcoming to begin with, this whole "mysterious" way they've released their partners names will draw even more attention to the partners themselves as a "stealth" play. Kind of like putting those "Parental Advisory" labels on CD's, causing them to sell like crazy.

As Bugs used to say, "What a bunch of Maroons..."
