Chuck,

You may be right. I am holding my trade with the expectation that a) there will be a press release or b) some one with wider audience, like, Dean Takahashi picks it up and puts it in WSJ. This is a big story. I am puzzled that not many have picked it up so far. May be I am giving too much credit to the power of Internet.

I was also surprised to see that not many on the street have picked up the story from these bulletin boards. I don't think this news is factored in the stock price yet. If I remember correctly, more credible info started appearing on the net from the last weekend. I thought there would be a pop in the stock price yesterday. Since the news started appearing in volume on the net, the AMD stock price actually went down (yesterday and today) except that it recovered very nicely at the very end of the trading today. I was glad to see the pullback in the stock price on Monday, because it allowed me to pick up a good number of Dec in-money calls at reasonable prices ;o)
