Mate,

I'm not disputing the power of rumor. But General rumor, or one that has general market acceptance, is not the same as discussion of rumor on this thread. We may discuss a rumor, and its validity, but we are not creating it, and we, as a thread, are only a small part of the market's treatment of any particular bit of fact or misinformation.

I don't question what rumor will or can do. Just what we can do.

BTW East Lost Hills is in California, just west of Bakersfield--which is north of Los Angeles about 120 miles. Its an area on the south-west side of the Valley, located in a range of dry low hills that lead toward the coastal range that separates towns like Santa Maria, and San Louis Obispo from the San Juaquin (sp) Valley. There are so many holes in the ground in this particular area that the place looks like a factory. Its got to be one of the ugliest areas in that part of California.

With regard to PVF I agree with your assessment. I've been nasty and groussy for a month or more because I could not see prices staying up if there was no news. There has been no news and we are seeing the chickens come home to roost again. Please understand that this is not new. You have seen it happen perhaps twice now. I have seen it happen perhaps six or eight times.

The problem has been that with the exception of new property acquistions, we have not seen good factual results in at least three years. During this time PVF has spent a lot of money and accumulated property. Alluvial Diamonds are a bit different. Either you have them or you don't. Work for a few weeks and you got diamonds or you might as well be searching the Lost Hills River.

So its simple. We have been promised diamond counts for a few months. They have not come. The price drops. Now remember we were promised diamond counts on the Rio Desono and now its impossible to even get Canabrava to admit to having found a diamond on that property.

We all agree. No facts no price. This may be a great buying opportunity. I for one may believe we will eventually see results; but I'm not going to be suckered into this again. Why when the past says that next week may be worse. Just one glitch, one lawyer's sneeze and its a week or two more...till what??

Paul was selling when the price was up. That's not a great advertisement for early resolution of this new deal. The other dude we saw insider trading results for dumped every one of his options asap.

I for one will pass on the potential easy profit and wait for a factual release that confirms diamonds in economic quantities. Then I may add to my pile. But I'm done trusting people who just can not seem to ever get that final step correct.
