I'm watching the AMD site for a spec sheet, which will also show how much power consumption drops.

I have a new theory on why the 700 has lower power consumption than the 650: AMD improved the efficiency of the voltage regulators, which are, I think, inside the Slot A package, but not on the CPU die.
