Elliot,

For many months now, there has been a rumour that AOL would finally do a deal with ATT to use its cable lines. I believe it is a fact that the two have talked about such a deal, but there were some issues precluding it to be consumated. Number one, ATT wants to control the accounts and handle the billing. AOL does not want to relinquish for obvious reasons. Second, ATT wants a percentage of either e-commerce or ad revenues, while AOL wants to pay a usage based fee.

IMO, I believe a deal is imminent. Just a question of time. It makes sense for both parties.
