I think the difference we are talking about here is the time span. What the manual is saying is that the return on a gorilla will continue at a very high rate much longer than it will for a King.

The King will get commoditized much faster than the Gorilla, and face pricing pressure much sooner.

There are always exceptions to these rules, and if you want to propose that JDSU is so dominant that it will do as well long term as Q, I won't argue.

All I would say is "time will tell", and the odds are with the Gorilla.
