Hi everyone,.....great thread but i"m still lost. I'm wanting to upgrade to a new set up and possibly network with my existing pc. But for now I need help with a set up. I am fairly new to trading (since March) and I need to make some changes, here's where I need help. I know very little about the internals of pc's and how they work. I would like some suggestions from those of you in the know, currently I am on one pc, thru the trading day I have as many as 10 windows open with only one monitor,four to five of these are java and the rest research ect, I want two flat panel monitors and the ability to have three if needed. I just want a bare bones pc with speed,enough memory to handle what I'll be doing and as little unnecessary software as possible. I will be subscribing to some level II and charting also. Any suggestions would be appreciated, also I will most likely have to buy it factory assembled. One last thing if this will make any difference, I'm currently on a regular phone line and see no other choices for a good while. Thanks, JamesT
