I agree with your points. I think etrade should enforce the flipping rule. What good is a rule that isn't enforced? I like the current ipo process. I have to work for a living so fcfs never allowed me a chance at an ipo. I think Jim has a good point too. Etrade should adopt the NBA lottery process. Whoever has the worst record should get more chances at the next ipo. I can certainly understand Jim's frustration reading about people that receive 2 ipo's in one night when he has never received a single one. All in all, the process could be a lot worse. It wasn't long ago that an individual investor had no chance whatsoever at an ipo.
