Jon,

To the best of my knowledge, Quigley hasn't done any clinical tests on Cold Eeze bubble gum. Apparently they tried to use the clinical study for their zinc lozenges to make claims about their gum. This was one of the subjects of an FTC ruling today that went against Quigley. dailynews.yahoo.com. Since chewing gum uses the same delivery mechanism as lozenges, their gum probably works about as well as their lozenges. The initial study on Zicam demonstrated that Zicam is more effective than Cold Eeze lozenges so Zicam is probably more effective than Cold Eeze bubble gum too.
