Are all DDR chips 16-bit?

x4, x8, and x16 all go in the same size package. Just like regular SDRAM.

I've heard about 32-bit DDR chips, but because of the larger size of those chips, the DRAM manufacturers might as well just stick to PC800 RDRAM chips.

The x32 is useful for graphics applications. They will certainly be produced in volume for that market.
