yes it would. but I will say that I've seen some enormous short term jumps in the money aggregates that has not translated into inflation. Also the first question that came to mind on reading that comment is 'what is happening to velocity'. If you are seeing a big drop in velocity a rise in the aggregates is not as much of a concern.
