Will GTW be the next OEM of cable?

biz.yahoo.com

Excite@Home Brings Broadband Internet Services to Compaq Customers.

In the deal Compaq has become a OEM for the necessary hardware to enable cable Internet access. I wonder how long it will be before GTW also has cable ready computers available. Looks to me like broadband VIA cable experiences rapid growth. Seems like excite @ home ( symbol ATHM) stock is the play on broadband.

All,
This company is dead money. They let Intel jerk them around with the Floppermine. Now they are paying for their mistakes. At least they will fill some holes with the Athlon or so the rumors go...
