It was well accepted around my way that if you placed a tooth (or a diamond)in a glass filled with Coca-Cola and left it overnight, there'd be nothing left but the coke in the morning. But Coke tasted great and me and my teenage buddies drank it 'cause we were immortal.

The formula for Coke was the best kept secret since the Manhattan Project. And for decades Coke was a great stock.

Then some management goober decided to alter the formula and introduce a "new" Coke. It was a disaster, so they went back to the old Coke, calling it "Classic" Coke.

Then another goober decided that they'd bump up prices in their coke-dispensing machines when the temperature got hot; thinking that the thirsty would pay-up on a hot day. That idea got dumped.

Now Coke has demonstrated once again it's astute management; they're gonna do the age-old thing...they're gonna raise the prices of all coke. Boy do I love great management. (Lee)
