Softbank REDUCES YHOO holdings...

Washington, Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Softbank Corp. and affiliates of the Internet investor reduced their Yahoo! Inc. stake to 23.2 percent from 27.5 percent of common shares by distributing some shares of the Internet search company to members of their investment partnerships.

Investment partnerships connected to Softbank distributed about 1.27 million Yahoo shares on Oct. 29, according to an amended Schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Yahoo, based in Santa Clara, California, operates the leading service for navigating the Internet.

Yahoo shares rose 9 13/16 to 231. Company shares have almost doubled so far this year. Softbank shares fell 9 29/32 to 655 3/32 and have risen 11-fold so far this year.
