Mike: HLIT has been doing the same thing lately:

beta.iqc.com

Of course now that we mention it, it will stop.

"Something to consider.....It's been worth a couple of points a day....."

It worths 4 points between yesterday pm and 9:30 this morning. Didn't realize the 6 out of 7 days pattern but today was just dumb luck - prodential upgraded it and the pre-opening bid pushed it to $48. That's when I place a market order to sell without a single thought. I cashed out of TXCC yesterday to buy VTSS. Now I am out of VTSS and into PMCS. Kept calling Waterhouse to make sure I didn't violate any daytrading rule. It's a pain to keep track and if anyone has a good website to explain this exchange rule please post here.

RFMD - if we close up today, the $64-65 area would likely become a short term pivotal low and that would strengthen my theory of a trading pattern similarity between the current trend and the trend observed 4 months ago in the pre-split era.

Jeffrey - what is Cabot?

BBY alert - if BBY closes today above $55, it means it has successfully traded out of its short term price range and is thus poised to take out the next resistence at $61. If that is taken out, the next resistence is at $68. With the massive silly cash lining up before 7am Friday morning in front of their stores, their cash registers will ring non-stop. This is the single best idea for the holiday shopping play IMO. According to the release by BBY yesterday, the survey result showed 1 out of 4 shoppers will buy a consumer electronic items. More upgrades to come on this one as well.
