I went to Big Charts to check out the data. They also only chart Intel back to 1985 making me believe that's as far back as they go for charting since I plugged in other stocks that have been around longer and they all began in 1985. The return is 6,000+ percent for Intel since 1985:

You can type in custom time frames and various chart types using the rule on the left.

The Cisco chart says now it is reaching 60,000 percent plus since 1990.

I would love to find a place that charts back another decade or two. Perhaps all that data has not been entered into the databases yet or there is some technical reason for not going back beyond 1985.
