Eric, good point. But if the dividend were distributed over say an eight-quarter timeframe, would you not suspect the stock price to appreciate during this period because "management would have their act together WRT Avidia sales and implementation (ie. more contracts and, yes, announcements"?

PAIR's future (and stock valuation) is judged by Avidia. A 2-year stabilizing of the stock price (and hopefully appreciation) gives ample time to make all necessary changes in marketing, sales, and system delivery.

This dividend approach is intended for this purpose. Because once this is announced, expect a price jump and since monies would not be given right away, I suspect the shares will be held. Removing outstanding shares for trading reduces volatility and the price swings we're seeing now.

Furthermore, as contracts are announced, I would expect the stock price to go up. This appreciation provides PAIR leverage in buying a company using stock, which they have not been able to do because of its current valuation.
