PMS Witch, Oh no, this can't be true! You wrote: I acquired my big margin position from having CSCO puts exercised against me in 1994. At the time, I decided to keep the shares and find some other way of paying off the margin. It took five years, but finally the debt's gone. I'm pleased with how those shares have appreciated. I wonder how the guy who 'put' them to me feels today. (CSCO's made a new high.) I highlighted what I found so objectionable. You must correct this at once by doubling your position in Cisco by a margin position of 50%. You are living recklessly by using such a cautious approach to investing. regards...humble carl
