Keith,

Section 633 of the TSE Company Manual provides that a company cannot issue more than 5% of the outstanding shares to any one person.

In other words, the number of shares reserved for issuance to any one person pursuant to options must not exceed 5 % of the outstanding issue

Jordex has agreed to grant 500,000 options to Argentum to purchase its shares for a five-year period, of which 170,000 options are subject to shareholder approval of an amendment to its stock option plan.

Which explains the required approval for the 170,000 options IMO!

Kind Regards
AK

I totally agree about keeping the rumours off the thread. It is not the right way to go.
The glass is looking half full on the JDX today. Who knows? We might even close at a new 52 week high by the end of the week.

Regarding the following from the "alliance news release":
"Argentum has agreed to offer Jordex the opportunity to co-invest with Argentum in amounts ranging from US$500,000 to US$1,000,000 at Jordex's option, in all transactions in which Argentum has the opportunity to invest at least US$2.5 million to US $3.0 million"
Thinking about this, it's been bugging me as to why is Argentum offering this lucrative an "invite to JDX" ,it is an extremely large and generous welcome to Argentums "club". I have to think that it is spawned by one or all of three things; 1) the advantage of the connectedness of the JDX team (Staudt) or 2) the fact that Staudt and company are recognized as shrewd players and assessors of opportunities or 3) the JDX team has demonstrated how they will become a source of deep pockets that will enhance Argentums agenda. I believe that the answer is skewed more towards the "all 3" side or Argentum would never have opened the door this wide to them. After all Argentum is a $280 mil. operation. I'll bet there is a very very large story unfolding here.
Going to move on to look at MF Private Capital,Inc. deal and see if more puzzle pieces can be found.
