Mononoke? Okey Dokey. Pokemon is better described as Japanese Schlokim.

My kids love it thought so I keep my opinions to myself. There's much worse out there.

Actually they have a very good Pokemon video game(Nintendo 64) - Pokemon snap. You ride around on a little car taking pictures of the various pokemon creatures. Very well done - creative. Only slightly anti-social aspect of the game is you can throw balls filed with noxious gas at the creatures to rile them up to get better pictures.

I am completely in the dark about Pokemon things. Maybe your comment was meant for someone else?

We're not really into ghosts, we just happened to stumble in there. We wanted to stay there because of it's history, the ghosties were an added bonus. What was weird was after we encountered Mary Lambert's ghost and then heard stories from the woman working there about other appearances made by Mary, she splits for the night leaving us there on our own! We were the only guests, my wife was really spooked.

We didn't see the ghost of Mary, but she makes her presence known by allowing you to smell her perfume. I was in the lobby looking at some of the old guest registers and my wife was in the gift shop and we both caught a whiff of the perfume. Neither of us thought anything about it until we were told later that that is how she reveals herself. In thinking back on the scent, it didn't smell like perfumes or colognes smell now, but it was sweetish and a little spicy, maybe like they made it in the 19th century?

We tried to figure out how the owners could rig a trick like this, I suppose there are ways. One baffling thing is Susan caught a whiff of the cologne while we were both standing in the main room, but I didn't smell anything.

It made for a fun start to our vacation, that's for sure!
