Wharf's i-Cable IPO oversubscribed

HONG KONG, Nov 22 (Reuters) - Wharf (Holdings) Ltd's i-Cable Communications Ltd said on Monday its Hong Kong public offering of 36 million shares in the company was 6.3 times subscribed.

I-Cable said it received 2,394 valid applications for a total of 227.81 million shares or 6.3 times the total number of offer shares avaliable in the public offering.

The other 324 million shares being offered under U.S. offering and international offering were fully subscribed, the company said in a statement.

The pay television and Internet services company said on Friday that the offer price of the shares was fixed at HK$10.39 per share on Friday, the upper end of an indicative range of HK$8.46 to HK$10.39.
