William, do you play the semis for diversification? I just can't get excited about them due to the relative maturity and cyclicity of that market. Besides, I can hardly keep up with the inets as it is, let alone plunge into a totally different technical arena.

biotech is a different matter. I sympathize re: your post yesterday that stock-picking biotech will yield more $ than the bhh route, but it would sure save me a lot of aggravation!

I understand the importance of diversification, but am leaning toward stock picking my first love, the inets, and buying funds in other promising arenas where appropriate....
