MW - I was amazed by the story of just how difficult it is to get a pre-paid phone in the US. The sheer loss in revenues must be stagerring. Why on earth is this. It is costing the Q, PCS, Prime etc $illions. All they need to do for pre-paid is to take the money and pass the customer phone. Most of the customers won't use all that they have paid for if they are visitors and go home. If they return they will pay again and leave money on the table. No-one minds particularly since you get your own phone and number in any country that you are in and you can make local calls conveniently and cheaply. So why does PCS, Prime etc make such a ludicrous fuss and deny themselves all that income. And I'm only talking pre-paid. Best regards, L
