Actually, I am opposed to religious rule also. There are definitely fanatics who have twisted and corrupted the religions they believe in, even Christianity. Doesn't mean the faith itself is a bad thing, just the way some groups have come to observe it. I'm not one to dictate which religion is right versus wrong, but there are some ideas I clearly view as wrong. A difference in religion isn't going to land all who have followed the wrong denomination in hell, but waging war over beliefs that should be based on peace will, IMO, of course. But that's just me...
