THEY'RE HOME ! ! !

Well, not quite home home -- in the car with Peg driving home right now. They were able to get into Friday Harbor during a bit of a window in the rain, and landed about 30 minutes ago. I called Peg at home and then dashed over to see them and meet the intrepid pilot, and Peg got there 15 minutes later (so much for observing Island speed limits!). They said it was a very bumpy flight, which is probably an understatement, and the wind at the airport was still blowing about 25-30 knots, but not gusting and okay visibility, so they were able to get in on a wing and a prayer. So they are now headed home and should be there in a few minutes if they aren't already, and I'm back at work and as soon as my nerves settle down I'll be able to concentrate on work for the first time today.

And my son called and he and his ride are at the Anacortes terminal and will catch the 2:00 ferry, so they'll all be home by the time I get home from work. So we will all be together at home for the first time since September. The empty house will, temporarily, be filled with love and laughter and lots and lots of lovely racket.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

A HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVE AND THANKSGIVING TO ALL.
