My most memorable Thanksgiving was when I was a wee lad of 16 and was invited to dinner at my girlfriend's home to "meet the family." I shoulda stayed home. Mama served Kentucky Fried Chicken IN THE BUCKET! This, I am certain, was the beginning of my neurosis, sometimes called my blue-period, and led, I am equally certain, to my eventual sessions with the sagacious but never pompous Doc Kronkite.
