Sudan: State Minister For External Relations Praises Canadian Contributions In Oil Field Khartoum, Nov. 24 (SUNA)- The State Minister at the Ministry of External Relations Bishop Gabriel Roric praised the great Canadian contributions in the project of production and exportation of the Sudanese petroleum and its strong stance in support of Sudan in the face of foreign pressures. This came when Bishop Roric received Wednesday the Director of the East and South Africa Department at the Canadian Foreign Ministry. The meeting reviewed the progress of bilateral relations and joint cooperation as well as developments of the peace process in Sudan in the light of the IGAD and the Egptian-Libyan initiatives as well as the role Canada could play, as one of the IGAD's Partners Group, in this regard . The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the External Relations Ministry, Dr. Hassan Abdin, and the Canadian Ambassador accredited to Sudan, resident in Ethiopia.
