Elbrus 2k has been floating around for a couple of years or more, with not a lot of FAB space.

Jim, now I understand. I posted the story....kind of tongue-in-cheek.

I think I am probably more worried that Russia will implode econonomically than they developing a cpu that competes with the cumine or Athlon....not that that isn't possible (in case their are any Russians lurking on the thread)but in the grand scheme of things, it is the much, much lesser evil.
