Thread, don't flame me because I have no position in nextel.

I am just wondering why no one is questioning the source of all the disinformation regarding nextel.

There is almost no chance that nextel can smoothly just "buy" the spectrum previously sold to nextwave.

First, C block is for small business and nextel does not qualify.

Second, every carrier in the world and other originally C block bidders will be sueing the FCC and Nextel if they proceed with the deal.

Third, FCC and most likely nextel will be under congressional investigation, which might already have been in process.

This nextwave bankruptcy decision, while a blow to nextwave, has almost nothing to do with nextel. So, whoever is pumping nextel has very suspicious motivation.

Again, I have no position in Nextel. However, I have to say that I am seriously considered shorting (or puts) this misinformation.
