I doubt cpq will warn this time at all. Even MU is expecting pretty good earnings. All chip companies are telling us that demand is very very strong. Unless we get weak EU sales #s, $33~$36 is possible by Dec 31, imho. later, InSook

I don't believe we'll hear a peep from Capellas regarding Q4 til earnings are released unless CPQ warns. El">> I expect vol to be low and mkt conditions stable through Dec. The things that will hold cpq down are we will get PR but not solid NEWS or GUIDENCE! MC will not help,, so although 30 or more is possible policy may very well hold us back! Without some good news we will easily rest at 22 - 23 IMO.

EL-- in todays mail a real nice brochure was received from IBM pushing their boxes and laptops. Great deals UNTIL you dig deep and the deals lose a little. Still good but no longer great. WIN 98-- but Lotus Suite instead of Office 2000 ($169), 15" monitor but $100 gets up to 17" and another $100 to go from 64 mhz ram to 96 (although my box has 256 mhz 96 would be a minimum. I receive a lot of 'puter info, mags, and ads in the mail but never anything like this from IBM. Overall, it was impressive and a decent 'deal'-- never received anything like this from cpq... DELL loads the mailman down...
