In terms of longs vs shorts, Monday morning looks quite
interesting. These Fridays after Thanksgiving are not
very accurate predictors -- they tend to be swayed by
retail investors, not the professionals. What happens
when everybody returns to the game Monday morning will
tell the real story.

My guess is that KIDE pops at the opening and pretty
quickly runs down from there. I don't think the shorts
are finished with KIDE, and these last two days are
just a vacation.

However, if the shorts really are covering, then you
get a good chance of another 10 point day. The movie
will add another $10 million weekend (although it's
Toy Story's turn to get the $50 million) and the
shopping buzz about Pokemon will certainly be out there.

Which view is more correct? Monday morning will tell.

For the record, I am a previous long, currently with a
small short position taken late today (Friday). I expect
to be long again sometime next month.

There's money to be made both ways.
