I have to agree with that. Spent some time today reviewing this company's SEC filings and looking at the specs for this card. Showed it to some of my network admin colleagues and got universal sneers and a few laughs. The biggest laughs came from the PR touting the certification as somehow implying approval of the product. The certifications simply mean the company has demonstrated a minimal and required compatibility with the idiosyncracies of various national telco systems. Absolutely no big deal and not worthy of a PR. No ISPs would consider using this product even with any cost considerations. Reliability is of highest importance. I can see no market for this card especially since it is nearly obsolete (56K dial-up). The card isn't even manufactured yet. They might as well not bother. They should just turn this whole affair into a stock distribution scheme. All the antecedents are already in place. All we need is the dump.

I also agree that some of the comments from the CNBC boys today were the height of irresponsibility until right at the end of the day when a light seemed to go off and there was a collective bemused shrug and a what the heck is going on here and a comment about "well this looks like the top."

At this point it looks like it will be one of the greatest shorts of all time. Have we seen a volume spin like this in recent memory? I sure hope that aftermarket print at 17 is representative of where it will open or at least reach on Friday. I do feel sorry for those buying it if they were induced by inaccuracies in CNBC reporting or company hype or the fake analysts. I sure hope they were not "novices home from work for the day and dabling in daytrading" as I have heard. There will be no Christmas presents for many tots I fear.

I, too, will be backing up the dump truck on this one on Friday. And I will gladly collect the tuitition payments next week from those who suddenly realize just what they bought. Wake up! My dump truck doesn't have a backup warning bell on it.... :-)

Best,
