Before piling in...call the company
and grill them on time line for that
ARGENT partner...or, gasp, go through
the smallcaps thing and see if they
are indicating anything new. (or don't
call, never did me any good--awfully
tight lipped, and LaMarche has no love
for 'the chat rooms'.

GrandmaofJ on the Yahoo thread may indeed
have a connection, that person has repeated
several times on Yahoo over the last
year that their stepdaughter works there,
seems unlikely that somebody would just spam
the same BS over and over, although if I
were the Ariad employee I'd tell "Grandma"
to put a lid on it. We have been waiting for
a partner all year, don't see how spreading
the rumor again will speed the deal up any.

It does make sense that they'd secure a partner
now, with the 35M in hand, position-of-strength
and all that--but load up, well, don't go nuts--
a sure way to tempt Berger to screw things up
again, tho I doubt he'd ever do a toxic again,
he learned his lesson with my money <g>, but
these fellas always seem to find a way. Yes
Ariad is still my largest position, but Rick's
frequent comments whenever he smells lousy
management will echo in my noggin for the next
decade.

Not that I listen to Rick in all cases, better
to get rich slowly than so fast, heheh. AXPH
trending up...and nobody has had much good to
say about the management team over there either,
but a bargain is a bargain, right?
