I believe people governing the United States are no as foolish as they look! gg The past experience has shown that Russia was never a friend to begin with! After the fall of Communism, a friendly Russia existed only in the imagination of feeble minded country boys with a college degree and plenty of good will in their hearts. Fall of communism was not the end of Russian imperialism. Yes Russia is a third world nation which can't feed itself, yes, Russians in general are lazy and backward, yes they are broke, and YES, they still have their rusted and oudated but still very dangerous nuclear arsenal and will to use it in order to leverage themselves as a world power, and on equal footing with the United States. As I have said before on this thread, the "Russian" war in Chechnya, apart from being an election "issue" could be an attempt by Russians to put back together the broken pieces of the Empire, at their convinient time! Look who is running the Caucasian Republics, Aliev in Adzerbaijan, Shavernadzeh in Gerogia, and Robert Kucharian in Armenia, all members of KGB. The same goes for the people running the Centeral Asian Republics. Not one truley independent ex-Soviet Republic exists, yet. Moscow is guards the international frontiers of all these republics, commands their air-space! This is the new era of "Bolshoi Igra!"
