i-Cable says over-allotment option exercised

HONG KONG, Nov 25 (Reuters) - Pay television operator i-Cable Communications Ltd <ICAB.O> said an over-allotment option in its initial public offering had been exercised on Thursday and an additional 2.7 million American Depositary Shares (ADS) would be issued.

The company said in a statement that Merrill Lynch Far East Ltd had exercised the over-allotment option in full, requiring i-Cable to issue the 2.7 million additional ADS, representing 54 million shares to cover the over-allotments under the U.S. offering.

The additional shares represent about 2.76 percent of the existing issued share capital of the company and about 2.68 percent of the enlarged issued share capital of the company, it said.
The additional shares had been issued at US$27 per ADS, it added.
