Steven,
I think that once the infastructure for broadband (i.e. CHTR, HSAC, etc.) is widely available to consumers at a reasonable price, then GNET will place more emphasis on revamping Playsite to compete on the same level as the Zone. I don't play games except an occasional round of cribbage, but it is my understanding that shoot-em-up's, etc. are all about ping rate. I know that my friends who are big gamers get all excited when they find out that I have a DSL line in the house. Faster reaction time then their lowly dial up opponents.
Anyway, in the revenue scheme of things, I was once told from a reliable source that Playsite is at the bottom of the list in the Go2network for filling ad space. Maybe the cost to upgrade the site to "the Zone" status outweighs the revenues that it would generate.
You know that Russ is tight with our money. :-)

Have a great Holiday GNET longs -#26
