Brian - my my what a long post. I must comment, I hope you do not mind.

"...Thoughts are quite something... Men think and think and can not come to truth through the power of their minds.."

I must point out that you are quite wrong in this statement which becomes the bases of your whole post. By way of example I suggest you take a look at Budhist philosophy (the philosophy mind you and not the religion). The monks have been meditating upon and finding more truth than you would believe for far longer than christians have been claiming they found it. It is possible for the human mind to reach beyond their fleshly limitations and reach "heaven" and find "truth". I am sure you will not consider this as "truth" since it directly contradicts your faith. But it is verifiable information that has been coroborated by other systems.

What say you to an experienced universe versus your "faith" in what you have never seen?

By the way. It is easy to write off others philosophy as flawed and or human fantasy when it contradicts your faith. Yet the facts of the universe can be experienced and proven by each and every one of us, while you have nothing to offer but an old book written in a dead society.

I mean no offense, but all of you talk about the word of god when you quote the bible, assume it is so perfect. Yet you have ignored my specific questions on the bible's ridiculous falicies such a slavery and prostitution. How is it your so perfect bible could condone such terrible attrocities? Was your god just not so enlightened when he condoned slavery? Or taught the jews to buy and sell women?

Humm?

Thanks for your time BV. Of course you're right about God knowing everything before hand. I'll have to digest some on the rest.

See you later.
