E, check this out! They're up to nine sponsors and the donations just jumped nearly 200% in the last few days! So, although the SI thread thing may have been a ugly, I'll bet the discussions you generated around SI had quite a bit to do with the jump.

I'm not joking when I say this...The internet could literally end world hunger given another decade with the growth of sites like this.
