I agree ,I too use Drive Image and 1 gig Jaz drive for backups! It has been a life saver. I use two 1 gig disk to back up 1.8 gigs on no compression! It takes about 45 mins to restore the Image.
I also have an HP 8100 RW drive with a internal Zip. I find myself still using the Zip drive all the time. My daughter use the CD drive to burn MP3! The Zip is used to transfer file between computers and backing up Documents daily!!

Iomega needs to come out with a combo drive ,lets say MR 4 or 5 gig drive with 250 a Zip drive! I think it would sell well! It would also read all previous media. What do you think?

Interesting technique. I can see your point about the CD-RW only holding 500MB. I'm glad you can hold all the necessary Drive Image and Jaz drivers on the boot floppy. I wanted Partition Magic and Boot Manager too, so I made a boot Zip with everything I'd need in an emergency. Boot to DOS on Zip, restore from CDROM or HD backup, normal boot to Win98 on hard disk - 15 minutes tops.

More than one way to skin a cat, eh?
