I do believe that profit figure is 2001- Fiscal Year. (1999 ended last March) And WSTL has FY 2001 from April 2000 to Mar 2001. It also low balls cost redux programs which will lead to a "Qtrly" profit of >.04 in FY01, easy.
I can see a FY profit way beyond Warburg in 2002 (which i don't believe they projected), hence the bet against $4.46.

>>A price that gives the stock a 350 PE ratio looking forward to 2002
After seeing the DSLstocks this year, next yr. will lead to more consistent performance,IMO. And rev/profit projections aren't obvious today w/ WSTL. But by mid year, Y2K1 profit will look much headier than a mid-teens stock projects.

Let's just see. Please keep the repartee. It is fun.
