As a resident of "the Americas", I find your comment, "As a resident of Europe", to be both amusing and convenient, not to mention argumentative. Just where do you live?

Who walks up to their fellow Earthling and identifies himself as "a resident of Europe"? Who's the president of Europe?

Regardless of reference material, there is a distinction between the UK and Ireland, and Europe.

Greg

p.s. You have to admit that this is thought provoking.

As a resident of England and not of Europe I and many others of us don't find anything amusing about Europe at all.

Judging by the Wars of this century, I don't think the English want Germans to dictate who they belong to.
