Stuart-We will probably continue to see an increase in the short interest next month. With nothing to make the stock take off near-term the figure should get larger.

IMO, shorts may be going to the well once too often.

A positive earnings report in January could induce broker upgrades. January would also be the time that some of the institutions that lightened their load for tax purposes this year (a logical choice/most tech stocks made huge increases this year) would again begin buying in.

With the long-term prospects remaining unchanged. It looks as if the water pressure is building on the walls of the dam and we will see an unexpected wave that I would only want to be on top of--not under.

Good luck all!

Thanks, Stuart. That is a shocking figure to me. Although the shorts could legitimately prove to be correct, I personally think that it is far, far riskier to be short at this juncture than to be long. If RDRAM catches on, it may be $200 or more before these shorts could cover, even if you give them all of your shares.

Best,
Prophet
