Are the posters going on strike? >> My suspicion is that it has more to do with the holidays then anything SI is doing. I may possess an outnumbered opinion here, but believe it is good for SI to charge a membership fee. The quality of comments here are so clearly heads and shoulders above Yahoo and other free sites that I would not want to urge SI to alter their policy. But by the same token they would be undercutting a solid footing if they were to reverse their "grandfathering" policy as these posters in particular are the time proven foundation source of good, concise info and opinions on the subjects we share an interest in. Bottom line is that, IMO, SI should change nothing at this point and would only precipitate a decline if they did so. Happy Thanksgiving All! Best, Stitch
