PowerPC is a processor family supplied by both Motorola and IBM, used most prominently by Apple. But its also making significant inroads into embedded applications (read, comms). However, Prizma is in no way dependent on any processor family. And I would add that if the use of PowerPC cpus in NN products is a new step for them, then the sw port to these newer systems will be more of an effort than we've been led to believe.

I agree completely.

I noticed a reference to PowerPC in the IBM Prizma literature and thought it fit and was worth mentioning.
