"My question is what have you or others changed in the computer between the last time the 3 1/2 inch floppy worked and when Win 95 starting telling you it was a 5 1/4 inch floppy? "

Well.... everything has changed. What we've been doing is recycling all the 960 desktop computers within our organization in order to make them Y2K compliant. We bring them in and put in a new hard drive, Ghost them with Y2K compliant apps. and Win95B, then deploy them to our users.

What happened in this case was a couple days after we deployed this box, the user called and said "my A: drive doesn't work."

I'm almost certain this is a Windows problem because the final thing we do to each box before deployment is run a Y2K test on the machine in the A: drive at the DOS level.

I'll know more on Monday when I take another look at it.

Thanks for giving it some thought.
