I too have given thought to this merger falling thru, and have decided that it may affect perception & the stock price too for the short term. Then someone realizes (for the reasons already stated re: increased revenues) that this is $1.8 billion that we get to bank...and we may be as well off without them for right now. I also came to the same quick conclusion that when Etrade got the Super Bowl that this qtr is a cinch for another record. We are ok for the long haul...and probably the short one too. This thing is a winner. Let
