The PC Labs article re ADSP,RASCAL is dated around November 1997.
See post 1104 for confirmation. I suspect its a different configuration from a different time.

Jimmy, the products described in the PC week are the RS1000 and RS2000.They were introduced some time ago.Probably two yrs ago. The current Press release is for the RS4200. Despite the PC week fanfare and hype,the RS1000 and RS2000 have done NOTHING for the company.The company has declining revenues and is bleeding cash. All their products are from outsourcing from contract manufacturers. They have no patents and a virtually non-existence R&D department.To compare this to QCOM is ludicrous.In short, their RS4200 product will be just as unwanted and non beneficial to the company as their previously hyped RS2000-1000.Also, Dialogic
is the leader in open architecture remote access. Besides, the future is in ADSL not 56K ISDN.
