Did you hear my man Hatim!! I think CSCO needs to show up or risk being left high and dry. The network business is changing underneath Cisco's feet. The new all-optical networks will have many awesome players. Sprint recently cancelled a $500 million contract with Cisco to go with Nortel, which (NT)according to George Gilder is "cooking on all optical cylinders". Wireless is certainly not Cisco's game, I think Cisco will be happy to be a player at all.
Agree with your caveat re "The last Mile board"... too many ciscophytes there.
I want to wish everybody a belated Happy US Turkey day. We all certainly have a lot to be thankful about, not the least of which is the camaraderie on this thread. Maybe we should meet at WiLan's shareholder meeting in april.
By the way I am selling tickets to the Dec 2 meeting ;)
