Bosco,

"do block trades still show up on level II?"

The only trades that show up on level II are the ones that nobody cares about. So if I want to buy 5,000 shares at 18 1/4, I'll just throw the bid in & all 5,000 shares will be seen by the public. But block trades are usually never seen on level II. Many times you only see 1/2 of the trade after its already done (like what I described earlier).

Re: private negotiation, yes almost all are done this way. But sometimes you can't find another buyer or seller so you use the public. This is what is currently going on with NTBC, they are selling to the public on behalf of some client.

Didn't any of you wonder why the ask price never went above 18 1/2 for 90% of today's trading? Guess who was working a trade at that price? (our good friends from NTBC). As soon as they are finished expect to see some block trade confirmations go by. I'm guessing about 100,000-200,000 worth of block trades should get printed any day now. Now remember don't confuse these prints as "buys" because they will be sells. It doesn't matter because overall there are still more buyers.

& Robert, don't worry about it I have your back on this stuff. Just remember I'm brain dead when it comes to technology.
